사진 파일 자체는 앱이 저장하지 않습니다. 식별자만 기억해 두었다가 화면에 보여줄 때 사진첩에서 직접 읽습니다.
이 앱은 사진, 사진 식별자, EXIF 위도·경도, 방문 국가·도시를 어디에도 전송하지 않습니다. 계정 체계도 없습니다.
앱을 열면 기기에서 임의로 만든 설치 식별자, 실행일, 플랫폼과 앱 버전, 기기에 설정된 로케일과 그 안의 국가 코드(예: KR)를 Supabase로 보냅니다. 이는 설치 수, 활성 사용자, 버전 및 지역 설정 분포를 집계하는 데만 사용합니다.
지도의 배경(도로·지명·지형)은 OpenFreeMap 에서 실시간으로 내려받습니다. 이 과정에서 여러분이 지금 보고 있는 지도 영역이 해당 서비스에 전달됩니다. 이는 대략적인 관심 지역을 드러낼 수 있습니다.
공유 카드 이미지는 기기 안에서 만들어집니다. 여러분이 직접 공유 버튼을 눌러 특정 앱을 선택했을 때에만 그 앱으로 전달됩니다. 자동으로 전송되는 경로는 없습니다.

In one line — Your photos and their capture locations are never sent to a server. To improve the app, we collect anonymous install and launch information plus the device locale and region code. There are no accounts, logins, or ads.
Footprint Map reads the capture location (EXIF) of photos stored on your device and paints a map in grid cells. It does not move or copy the photos themselves.
The app does not store copies of your photos. It keeps only identifiers and reads the photos from your gallery when displaying them.
Anonymous app analytics: a randomly generated install identifier, launch date, platform, app and build version, device locale, and locale region code are sent to Supabase to count installs and active users and understand version and region-setting distribution.
Your photos, photo identifiers, EXIF coordinates, visited countries, and city names are never transmitted. There is no account system. The analytics install identifier is not linked to a name, contact detail, account, advertising ID, GPS location, IP-derived location, or photo location. The region code comes only from the device's locale setting and may differ from the user's residence.
One exception: map backgrounds (roads, place names, terrain) are streamed from OpenFreeMap. In doing so, the map area you are currently viewing is sent to that service, which may reveal your approximate area of interest. No photos, precise location, or identifying information are included. The app works offline, and when offline it uses a coastline map bundled inside the app with no network traffic at all.
Share images are created on your device and are only handed to another app when you explicitly tap Share and choose one.
Photo-related data lives only in the app's local database. Clear it any time via Settings → Apps → Footprint Map → Storage → Clear data, or by uninstalling the app. Anonymous analytics source records are stored by Supabase without an account link. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes the local random identifier and stops future records under that identifier.
We use no advertising network or crash-reporting SDK. Supabase processes and stores the anonymous app analytics described above. A private administrator Telegram bot displays aggregate daily and region counts, not individual records.
This app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
